THIS POSITION IS BASED IN THE HOUSTON, TX AREA

The Pharmacy Development Coordinator (PDC) will manage chain pharmacy accounts by establishing relationships and direct communications with all levels of management. The PDC will drive business by educating pharmacy personnel on our current and future products and services. The PDC will ensure that the pharmacy chain is receiving the highest quality customer care by interfacing with field management and store personnel. In addition, the PDC will be responsible for development, implementation and coordination of marketing campaigns within the account. These campaigns will be directed toward workers’ compensation patient referral sources and to workers’ compensation patients.

Essential Functions

  • Development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics for assigned account that will result in increased awareness and incremental volume of workers’ compensation prescriptions. Marketing strategy currently includes visiting prescribers.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships and meet with local, regional and corporate pharmacy management team regularly to ensure account is receiving the highest quality customer care.
  • Provide feedback to company and pharmacy chain management of pertinent corporate communications and issues that may impact relationships.
  • Deliver presentations and participate in other activities to promote workers’ compensation awareness and client awareness.
  • Present workers’ compensation benefits and value added services to current chain and prospective clients.

 Education/ Experience Requirements

Bachelor Degree and 2 or more years of Account Management, Marketing, Project Management, or Sales experience with a proven track record of success.
